Position: Program CoordinatorDivision: Office of the President

Summary:
The Program Coordinator will support program initiatives for the Office of the President. Initiatives include but are not limited to AOPA presence at events, AOPA's annual convention, AOPA's branded merchandise, meetings, and awards.
Responsibilities to include: "Support for all department functions including ordering supplies, submitting purchase orders, work orders, inventory management, invoice tracking, budget coordination, and coordinating schedules and travel.
"Serve as the liaison with the aviation community, managing information flow and organizing outreach opportunities including creation of awards, sending AOPA materials, and managing the merchandise ordering and inventory.
"Participate in the organization of meetings including room reservations, transportation needs and all related logistical requirements.
"Participate in the planning and on-site execution of AOPA's Aviation Summit including coordinating information flow between internal departments and vendors, coordinating hotel room blocks, ensuring consistency in information across all channels and general support for all aspects of the conference.
Qualifications:
"Two year college degree or 2-4 years of related work experience required.
"Must be proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook and Internet-based research. Access database knowledge preferred.
"Must thrive in a fast paced ever-changing environment with advanced project and time management skills. Must be able to adapt to changeable priorities requiring scheduling flexibility.
"Excellent verbal and written communication skills in order to effectively communicate with all levels internally and externally.
"Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
"Travel required.
